Holy Innocents, Church. Stained Glass Windows.

The above photo was taken during the interval, of a recent concert given by the Kirby Voices.  We used this occasion to recognise the fund raising that had taken place, to restore some of our strained-glass windows.  Many people in the parish had made donations to this project, and our grateful thanks to all who contributed.

This evening Tim Frost Churchwarden was receiving a cheque for £8500 from Colin Tiffin, Chair of Friends of Holy Innocents’ Church.  Their mission statement aim is: “To conserve the 13th Century parish of Holy Innocents, Great Barton for future generations, by helping to finance purely for the maintenance and repair of the building and its environs”.

Again, we are very grateful for Colin and his fellow Trustees for supporting this project, so substantially, which has enabled us to complete the three windows and preserve them well into the next century.

We fully commend the efforts from Friends of Holy Innocents’ Church. Should you wish to donate and support their work, you can find an application form at the back of the church.

Thank You!

Blessing to you all!
